Taynuilt Golf Club is a challenging 9-hole parkland course which was founded in 1987.  The Course is surrounded by majestic scenery located close to the base of Ben Cruachan and with stunning views up Loch Etive.  The village of Taynuilt is situated on the A85, approximately a 2 hour drive from Glasgow and 12 miles from Oban, "The Gateway to the Isles".  see location map

Please note the course improvement programme for this year has meant the installation of an open drainage ditch across the 2nd fairway.  This is a new hazard which does not have a 'free drop'.  Also the out of bounds markers have been relocated on the 8th and 9th fairways so caution required!

Ladies Season Gets Underway

Today sees the start of the 2016 season, with the ‘Two Clubs and a Putter’ competition. For some, this can be a real dilemma to choose which clubs to discard, but there are other ladies who rarely use any more than this normally (we know who you are!)!

The afternoon finishes with a meal and a chat, providing everyone an opportunity to discuss the season ahead.

Ladies, don’t forget to get your matchplay entries in by 6pm on Tuesday 6th April.  All links to the entry forms can be found in the ‘Quick Links’ menu, and I’ll add a shortcut here just while you get used to the new website!
