Our 3 Person Stableford, sponsored by Brander Lodge, takes place on 14th May.

Some members have expressed concern about the felling of trees on the course. The Greenkeeper and Committee do take expert advice on Course maintenance and, sadly sometimes this involves the removal of trees to allow light onto the course and improve growth. A tree to the left of the 8th green is to be removed, as soon as possible, as it is rotten and dangerous.
The green keeper and volunteers have been working hard over the winter to improve the course. Scrub has been cleared and trees cut down. A new welfare unit for the greenkeeper has been installed and the machinery shed is having a makeover. All this in preparation for another excellent season.
The club is running an online survey in order to better understand the views and needs of the members, so this is a chance to have your say!
It can be accessed through the Members section.
Happy New Year to members and visitors!
This year’s clubhouse events start off with a Burns Night Supper, everyone welcome!
The golfing season may be over, but the fun never stops! Get your team and table sorted for the ever-popular Quiz Night, which returns on Saturday, 26 November.
The clubhouse underwent a transformation on Saturday, in preparation for the evening’s Prizegiving. It was a great atmosphere, and it’s always nice to mingle with other members without the pressure of a game of golf to follow!
The awards were preceded by a lovely meal, thanks to all the ladies who provided a dish or two.
Congratulations to all the prizewinners!
How fortunate that we had such fabulous weather for the final Open of the season, the Ladies Greensome. In addition to the weather gods, thanks also to greenkeeper Craig and his crew – the course was in lovely condition despite all the recent rain. Thanks also to all the ladies who helped out with the catering and in the kitchen, the food was lovely as always! A special mention to Murray and Hugh for managing the scoreboard and raffle.
